I don't make them, but I know a man who does! Have a look at http://callanishcandles.com (http://callanishcandles.com) all handmade on the Isle of Lewis.

I am having a go at candles this year and they are very easy and cheap to make yourself. It's also not too time consuming and amazingly satisfying x

I always make candles for my own use it is fairly simple just like cooking.
Sites like Folksy and Etsy have UK sellers on making candles etc
-
If you make candles to sell at craft markets are there any rules you should follow like H&S notices???
Thanks

As far as I know the regulations for candles are far less strict than body products etc
A candle warning label is about all that is required I think.
