Hello,
Up to date my contact with sheep has being very limited.
I live in Redditch and was kinda hoping that anyone with sheep in my surrounding area wouldnt mind sparing me 10/20minutes or so wheres I could come to yours and have a chat show me some of your sheep, that kind of thing.
Is this a bizzar thing to ask?
thanks

Hi JU
No, it's not at all bizarre, over the years we've visited and hosted many other smallholders in our area to do just what you're describing.
Sadly we're in Scotland otherwise we'd have been happy to have you, hopefully someone a bit closer to home will be willing. :)

We are also rather a long way from you but we have done this for other people so your request isn't in the least bit strange. I saw from your other post that one of your thoughts is Jacobs. There are some excellent Jacob flocks not too far from you and I am sure they would be happy to show you Jacobs and discuss your concerns.
Take your time to make your mind up what you like. The Rare Breed Survival Trust website is a good starting point because it has links to many of the Breed Societies.

For Jacobs the society website is at
http://www.jacobsheepsociety.co.uk/home.htm (http://www.jacobsheepsociety.co.uk/home.htm) - several of the breeders on the breeders page aren't too far from you.
