Title: Chicks due tomorrow !!!! Day 21!

Have been waiting 21 days and now this is the most nerve racking bit waiting for the chicks i sold a woman 18 eggs and she got 18 outta 18  my luck wont be that good never has been hehe!!!!!

I did much the same thing! I sold 24 hatching eggs, 23 were fertile, 19 hatched and she got 12 girls! Which is way better than my hatch rate, but I do also tend to have a higher ratio of girls.

Hatch day for me this coming week is Wednesday morning & Thursday afternoon. I've got 40 eggs and a small hatcher for 20. It's going to be a tight timescale hatch!

There not done yet but i think 10 one has splayed leg do i just put a lolly stick between them ave never had this before?? Never seen it before ??

Any advice would be good

make sure that the surface they are on is not slippery.
we had a splayed leg chick with our first hatch..... probably didn't treat it properly and we had to cull him aged 4 weeks :'(
we had another one with third batch, we immediately taped legs together  (hip width apart) and used to handle him to stand in our hands  and let him run around on the carpet......(a bit like physio i suppose)
he's fine now wouldn't know there was a problem
