Title: Help - latex allergy?
Post by: YorkshireLass on October 01, 2011, 08:39:34 am
I'm hoping you lovely folks will, for some reason, know where to find nice bras that don't contain latex?
It seems my skin has decided that bra elastic is the work of the devil (I didn't connect elastic/latex until some, erm, enlightening googling. Be very careful pairing "latex" and "bra" in your searches  :o )

I've seen a couple of US shopping sites, and a couple of hideous options.

Without too much detail, I need something on the supportive, ather than flimsy side  :-[

Any thoughts?

It has crossed my mind to try making one, but honestly, where to begin??
Thank you  :bouquet:

Oh- I used to work with someone who is allergic to latex. She couldn't even go near ballons. I'll ask her if she knows of anything useful.

You really need to get the hang of internet bargain shopping, there are similar types at a much reduced price and if you do want the original it should be about £20 each which TBH is about right for the more plumpsish

I think Sloggi do some good cotton sports bras that don't contain latex or M&S sport range vest tops.

Sorry, my friend doesn't have an issue with bra's so she doesn't know of any without latex. She suffers if the latex is near her face.

Sorry :-(
