Hello, we are Jim and Jill, we have just purchased our first smallholding in South Wales and the site and forum have already been a great help with some of the issues related to deciding to go ahead with the purchase.
Although the property is now our's, due to other commitments we won't be able to move there full time until late spring/early summer next year and every week seems to be dragging.
In the meantime long weekends and holidays are being used up to try and get the place ready, 4 acres of long term neglected mountain hillside, so lots of questions to be asked.

Hi and welcome to a very friendly forum,
Lots of help is always available on here - funny how time drags when waiting for something nice to happen - and never enough time to get it all done once your'e there. At the moment we could do with another month of this weather and 3 more days in the week with an extra 4 hours in the day.

Thanks for the welcome folks
We will be busy over the next few weeks, the land is not all that's been neglected, so have the fences and tree's so tree felling and fencing starts in a weeks time. The neighbours sheep have a tendency to visit off the mountain but until everything is safe for them they need to be kept out.
Jim.
