Title: Chickens Impacted crop Operation, here she is 4 days later
Post by: Mel on September 27, 2011, 08:28:12 am
Morning all

I thought I would add these pictures of the girl whom had the crop operation. Here she is some 4 days later, still running about, perkier every day, however, her crop still seems to be hanging low,I suspect it had stretched with the previous weight and hopefully shall retract a bit in time?

Lord knows how long she had been like that but I am sure she is ok now,she is producing the usual amount of poop for an average chicken~albeit all over the house :D

She certainly looks a lot happier, Leghorn. I hope she goes on o.k. :)

Hi Dan,it is a pity she cannot fletcherise her food  ;)

Her crop split open yesterday,so I have now stitched it up which she was not too happy about but seems ok-alas she wants more food and I have to keep it down low until she is completely healed!
