Hi guys,
Its a sin - I am here to confess - I haven't been to TAS for over six weeks....
But I have thought of you all, often, and hope you are all doing fine.
My news....pigs are away, the freezers are full, I have made 48lbs of sausages, and don't want to see another one for some time. I did my calculations and it cost me £410 pounds for the pigs, feed, slaughter and butchering, and i have got back over £500 worth of pork and bacon etc. ....I'M HAPPY !!
The lambs have a bit of a reprieve cos there is no space in the freezer ::) The ewes are driving me nuts cos they take it in turns to go lame :-\
Our collie pup's ears are highly entertaining, the cats are mad, the chickens have hatched more chicks, the turkey is a lost cause, and the horses are eating through an orchard of windfalls!
That's all I have to say about that - in the words of my favourite philosopher
The site looks grand Dan!
It good to be back
