Hi all, We have a problem with one of our chicks ( Warrens) for a little while now we have one of the birds laying jelly eggs, the egg then started to improve and gradually become harder getting closer to the top of the egg but they have now gone back to being soft shelled again. we give them layers pellets as the norm and a handful of corn in the afternoon mixed with oyster shell and mixed grit. She certainly looks health enough and runs around with the others, can anybody help please, they are all wormed regularly.
Thanks in advance :chook:

Hi, your birds certainly seem to be getting a good diet. Not sure how old your birds are but some hybrid birds, such as warrens, can start laying jelly or soft shelled eggs intermittently as they age, usually aout 4-5 yrs of age. Some do some don't. :chook:
