is a pig a pig to another pig............. ie if i have 4 kk boys and put some different bigger breed guits in another adjoining encloser is trouble ahead....... all req for meat, so considering taint and unwanted escape breeding
-
yes definitely trouble ahead you would need to put the guilt's as far away from the males as possible uncastrated males will try and get to the in season guilt's also you have a greater risk of boar taint :farmer:

ok thanks will stick to boys................... bit like us boys i suspect we are alright together if left alone ;)

Unrelated boars will fight though Harry, so although there's no worry about the breeding or taint issue you do have to consider how you'd break up a fight if/when they were to get into each others paddocks - your Kunes will come off worse due to their small size. It may be a better idea to wait til your Kunes are away before bringing in new stock - but it shows the benefits of having castrated boars ;) You can mix them with gilts without any worry at all ;)
