I spoke to one of the contacts on the website for this sale. Catalogues will be available from the office later on today; he didn't know if it was going on the website ??? but if you phone the office, you can ask for one to be emailed out to you.
He agreed that the website was rubbish ;)
Just off to phone the office now.

Oh, gets better.
Phoned the office; asked when the catalogue would be ready. Some snotty female - says "Friday". Pause. "Friday" says I "the day before the sale?" "Maybe Thursday" she says. Pause "Anything wrong?" she asks. "Um, doesn't give folk much time to decide to come or not" I say.
"Our typist is off sick" says the gallus lass, "she might be back on Wednesday".
"Ok", I say, "will it be on the website?" "Yes", she replies. "So if I check on Thursday night, on the website, the catalogue will be there?" I ask, for the avoidance of doubt. "Yes" she says. We'll see.
A good way to run a business? I appreciate that the rare breed sales are not a main part of their business, but jeez, that's not a good service for buyers or sellers.

Amen to all of that! I do sometimes (a lot actually) how folk manage to stay in business as some are sooooo unprofessional (and often rude)
