Just thought I would share my pallet of eggs. I had a big surprise this week when my Jersey Giant Columbine Cross laid her first egg the colour of an olive. I'm now just waiting for my Cuckoo Maran to complete the set with a chocolate beauty. Funny how this little piece of smallholding jollity brings me so much pleasure. Hmmm, the days of sex and drugs and rock and roll must be long gone. Bring on the tea and biscuits.

And sex ;D ;D
Years ago I flew planes. When I did my first solo, full of euphoria, I told a friend it was better than sex. "You're not doing it right," he told me.
Years later, that same friend took up flying and sent me a text to tell me he had just done his first solo - and that it was not better than sex. "You're not doing it right," I told him.
