Watched this the other day
http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b00hs8zp/Natural_World_20082009_A_Farm_for_the_Future/
it's a wee bit slow, but it's all about a farm project to reduce our reliance on oil. if you are a livestock farmer, you'll find this very interesting, however, it didn't really address the issues that surround supplying tatties/carrots etc to the population. but was a good start
it's made me think a lot about the biodiversity in my small garden - and i'll be planting lots of none esible plants to encourage beasties and birds and such like into my yard
you might have to watch it in the next day or 2 or download it before it runs out.

I've recored it but not watched it yet. Maybe tonight if England have a batting collapse...
-
did the batting collapse? ???
-
No. They declared on 600 for 6. Still time for them to snatch defeat fron the jaws of victory.
-
What's 'batting' is it a new kind of hurdle? Is that the size? 600 4 6 ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)
-
It's usually a hurdle for the England cricket team! I don't really understand it but Dan loves cricket. I think it's one of the few things he misses about England.

oops, forgot he was adopted from englandshire - apologies for other thread!
