Thanks Rosemary! I really don't want to sell it, but needs must!

Wow, I would love a Defender and we are saving and waiting to buy another camper van, sadly thats wonderful but we will never be able to afford it!!!!! I did not know they made them, it is lovley, thanks for the pics,
Just noticed, how do you get to that bed on the roof? my tiny fat legs and bad back may struggle going up there!!
-
What a beautiful thing. I'm sure it'll be snapped up. We're penniless at the moment :(
-
Hey Sandy! Glad to see another defender fan! They didn't actually make a 'Defender Camper' as such, this one has been painstakingly put together by us.. not the work of a moment as im sure you can imagine!
And with regard to getting on the roof, if you scroll across to the right on the second picture from the bottom, you'll see a ladder strapped to the wall (not the most luxury I guess, but practical)
And I hope your right suziequeue, though it wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing to have on standby for the winter!

Is there some kind of a pull out bed? Can't tell from the pictures.
-
Hello Tudful Tamworths, the main sleeping area is the tent box on top, this is a picture inside it:
Alternatively you can sleep 1 person inside it on an air bed,
One potential plan for this landy to make it more family friendly, was to take out the cupboards and dry food storage area on the left side, then add some fold down bench seats, (as seen here on the exmoor trim website: http://www.exmoortrim.co.uk/catalogue/detail/34-load-area-seats/flypage/630-tip-ups.html?sef=hcfp), then with the space above this, have a pull down bed, this would enable the landy to seat four / five and comfortably sleep 4.
However this was never needed but would be fairly easy to do.

Hi Kit,
I'm sure you've got this advertised elsewhere too, but I suspect the problem is that on here, it's not quite the right vehicle for us. Much as I'd love a Defender Camper, I just couldn't see myself doing all the stuff I do with my current Defender in yours. For example, yesterday I came home with a roof full of timber, and a back-full of sand and cement. Also, I don't think I could bring myself to transport pigs in the back of yours! ;D
That said, cracking car, and I'm sure she will sell if you can find the right buyer.

Another defender lover here too but I still have one in bits in the garage to put together.
Good luck with the sale, it looks like a nice machine.

My 110 is in bits too. Just can't find the time. As said it would be a shame to put that one to the kind of use mine have to put up with.
