Title: worming ducks

i read somewhere never to use chicken wormer on ducks ...... i was going to buy a bag of layers feed with wormer already in, .......is duck wormer different

We've used chicken wormer (flubenvet) on ducks with no problem. The one chicken thing you definitely can't give ducks is chick feed that has a coccidiostat in it.

I asked the vet before using flubenvet for my ducks and she said it's fine. Might be worth emailing Marriages about their medicated feed?  :&>

Perhaps you are correct....it may have been chick feed i read about??????????

chick crumbs are often medicated and bad for ducklings, maybe that was it? :&>
