Title: Three years old working ram -

Is it OK to slaughter a ram of this age and activity for Mutton? Or will the meat be tainted as supposedly as is this case with active pigs?

Wait until the summer and his hormone levels are down.....he will taste a bit sheepy but will be very ok for curries, stews etc

Absolutely agree with Woollyshepherd on this one - they make a fabulous lamb tagine  :)

That's fine for some bits of him but what do you do with the rest of him.   ;)
