We are in the process of getting set up to keep pigs (fencing should be complete this Monday). Ideally we would like OSB's but I am having trouble trying to get some within a reasonable distance from Derby. We have a trailer so collection is not a problem. Willing to look at other breeds too, open to advice as this is our first time with pigs!! Would like to collect either w/c 15 or 22 August as we are wanting them to go to slaughter before Christmas. Also does anyone know of a good slaughterhouse/butcher in this area? I have seen some on websites but it is always good to get recommendations from people who have actual first hand experience. Thanks :)
