Title: What George and Mildred did next.
Post by: sabrina on August 04, 2011, 12:20:04 pm
Electric fence has managed to keep them in their paddock. Pitstop's stable looks onto this. We have a metal gate across the doorway so he can see out. We added a sheep hurdle to stop the pigs getting through the gaps but Saturday evening when I went to take Pitstop out of his stable for some time outside what should be in beside him but two little piglets. all 3 were quite happy but I have to add they were lucky it was Pitstop who has the sweetest natured. had it been one of the colts it would have been a different story. Both George and Mildred are a delight and very playfull, they love strawberries, I had some over ripe ones that i missed when pulling.  ;D

enjoy your piggies, they give so much to us, we can complain about everything to them, talk about quantum physics, who has annoyed us, and they will listen to us, give the occasional grunt and are EXCELLENT LISTNERS.  :pig: :pig:

little devils!
I don't think my o.h has yet forgiven our kune girls who escaped last summer (bellyflopped over the fence - I caught one trying again after!) and ate ALL the strawberries he was lovingly tending, right down to the ground!!
