Are you needing rid of the dregs of last year's straw before the forthcoming harvest? Get that shed tidied now!
I'm having a party in 4 weeks and would like to have some outdoor seating. Bales seem like a good idea. I have a wee trailer and could probably manage 6-8 square bales. Ideally they'd be free of charge but if not I could make a contribution to the charity of your choice.

I get some from a local farmer just off the Kincardine brige, I shall look him up again but he has square bales and they are cheap!!!!

I want to weep!
1. We recently paid £2.70 a small bale for a lorryload of straw. Fabulous clean barley straw, mind, but even so - ouch!
2. On Sunday we could've come home via the Kincardine bridge - if I'd have known, I'd have had the trailer on the back and detoured! (Not really. But I am soooo jealous of the quantities of straw you Scots can get your hands on! It's £90 a ton here now, in big bales. :o)
