I'm working on hubby! I stand more chance of a yes once we've sent all of boars off in a few more weeks.
-
Quite happy to keep whatever you want until end of Sept.... just need a deposit to secure them and they are yours.
-
Thanks I'm keen as I say just got to convince OH that after 20 pigs 2 goats won't be such a leap!
-
I have two of Wytsends milkers, and also two of this years kids - oh, and an intact billy!! All are friendly, and very easy to handle - no trouble whatsoever. Wish some of my other goats were so well behaved ;D
-
Thank you so much Roxy & for all the help in other areas... Gordon brought me up to speed earlier this wekk !
-
Yes, I looked in on the goat section at the Bakewell Show, and had a chat with Gordon who was showing his goats. When he delivered your goats to me, and mentioned he was going to Bakewell I told him to make sure he got a Bakewell pudding - and he had got one to take home ;D

3 months ago people were begging for milkers !!
Still hoping to sell these lovely girls.... plus 3 female kids. Prices are lowere than they have been for a long time.

Could be the fact winter is drawing in, and people are wondering how much hay is going to cost this year. I am sure someone will come and buy your goats soon ......lots of people are either on holiday or due to go away, so just a bad time for selling maybe?
-
You could be right !! Just frustrating.
Hay down here will be plentiful... prices are near normal again, whatever that is. I have been offered small bales for £2,50 delivered. Round bales are selling for £15-18.
Straw is a bit more ... something to do with the short stems that are planted nowadays. BUT I have found a free supply of sawdust for the girls, so happy about this.
-
Can you send a wagon full of hay up please?!! Or we will all have to move down where you are ......our hay is twice the price, but maybe thats because the hay suppliers are buying it from Devon and hauling it up here........
