As part of the Natural World series, BBC2 are showing a programme called A Farm for the Future on Friday 20th February. The programme apparently touches on the subjects of Peak Oil and Permaculture as it follows the progress of a farming move away from oil based, chemical agriculture.
Cotributors include:- Patrick Whitefield, Dr Colin Campbell, Richard Heinberg, Rosie Boycott, Peter Melchett, Patrick Holden, Monty Don, Tim Lang and Jeremy Leggett.
The programme will be repeated on Sunday 22nd.
It will be interesting to see what people think of it after it has been shown too.

OK everyone write to the BBC now and demand they allow us expats (well me at least) access via the computer so I can watch these programmes.

Hi, I saw this in RT this week. With the end of the "Victorian Farm", I will have a gap in my watch list so will e picking up on this. THere's also a programme on about the Amish communities in America. Might be quite interesting if it looks at their lifestyle and farming methods.

When is the Amish programme on Rosemary?

Now that should really give us an insight into how it used to be done. :)
