Wanted a stock trailer suitable for sheep - I know they are hard to find but it would be great if anyone can help us find one - ideally an 8 or 10 foot stock trailer.

Try here, nice people and always a yard full of nice things... if i only had the cash... :yum:

what region of Scotland are you in? we got ours from the local agric auction. Dealer was selling it as purchaser had underestimated the size of trailer he needed so had come back for a bigger one. Ours is an Ifor P8, and it's fab for sheep and pigs. We managed to save a few 00s this way and got a basically new trailer, so its not always rusty buckets at the auctions.

Thanks for the suggestion - we are between Edinburgh and Perth so accessible to most areas. I am glad to hear you had a success at auction - I was warned off by others but I might be more inclined to look there now! Ideally though I would prefer to buy direct if anyone has a trailer they no longer need.

Dingwall auction had a load of trailers last time around. Do your homework, though, else you could end up paying near to new price for used.
