Our first day with George and Mildred has been interesting. Mildred seems to be the ring leader when it comes to getting up to mischief. this morning she walked around the fence line looking for an escape route. George followed after her in a lazy sort of way. Pitstop and George said good morning to each other as can be seen in the picture but Mildred was far to busy making an escape plan to take any interest in a Shetland pony. After checking them at lunch time I had to go and take my grand daughter home, she has been staying for a few days but it was time for me to get back to work. I arrived back just before 5pm and all was normal, everyone where they should be. At 6pm I went out to feed everything and what should I see, George and Mildred in the ducks small paddock looking very pleased with there adventure. I can only think that they managed to get under the gate unless they got through the sheep netting. Now OH has the job of strimming all the fence line this weekend so I can get the electric fence on. Here was I thinking I had a pig proof paddock but then I have never met Kune-Kune pigs before. At the moment they are tucked up in one of the stables so at least I know where they are tonight. Watch this space Neil and Zoe. ;D

;D ;D ;D I'm sure they got "fat & round" wrong in the translation - it must really be "Houdini" ;) Looking at the size of yours, they could easily be lifting the gate up & belly-dancing through & they'll dig-up your fence posts in a matter of hours if they want to get to something interesting the other side. 2 of ours are seasoned escape artists ::) nothing we've tried yet has kept them in yet, but the others will stay behind 2 strands of horse tape whether the energiser is on or not :D
