our to date longest haul to a show (a further one is planned) was quite an eyeopener in all senses
first the pigs we went down with three and came back with eight rosettes and seven tickets =2 firsts 2 seconds 1 fourth 2 fifths and bpa young pig of the year winner (new class at the show and gives us an entry to hatfield) Lisa also won rosettes for fourth and fifth
did not see charlie but what the heck we have a photo of him meeting our son
the amount of people that came up to introduce themselves as tasers chicken feed being the first (hi-ya) frank Miller head honcho from the British lop society Ruth Dalton (who missed out on the partying) from rbst
the next planned outing is westmoorland with sheep and pigs and already the Scottish pig show entrants is already expanding (interested just pm me)
the unplanned outing is hatfield in august we will just have to wait and see the outcome
the lady we purchased hot lips from (British lop) won reserve champion with the same line as hot lips and the lady we purchased hawk eye from(Hampshire) was also placed with the same boar line
now Lillian has a different take on the yorkshire than myself and we will wait and see if she posts the condemnation and assistance on here :pig: :farmer:
