We have had a decent crop of whitecurrants this year. But then we have the perennial problem of what to do with them. I wouldn't want them to go to waste but I am stuck for ideas. The only one I have at the moment is whitecurrant jelly (the same as redcurrant jelly only with whitecurrants). Any ideas anyone??

Leave them on the stalk, dip them in beaten egg white, then dip them in icing sugar, allow to dry, eat them straight off the stalk , delicious.

Damn! Should have seen this earlier - I have put them in the freezer now!

This works for redcurrants also.
