I am definitely not a gardener, although I do try, I think I have black thumbs rather than green fingers.  My gardening partner certainly has black feet!!!

I garden because I love to see things grow and develop and feel I've made a difference to the world in a small way, by planting pretty flowers, growing veg to sell locally, or just sweeping a path, I hope I'm making my part of the world a better place! :) :apple:

I answered your poll but to be honest none of the answers really fitted me.

I answered your poll - it is a hobby, but when you such a large plot as mine it is also a challenge!

The challenge is also to grow some good veg! :yum:

I have to be honest, "Other" in a poll or survey is somewhat pointless. But without going with that option, I can't vote...

At least you have a garden that is easily maintained, Sandy!  Mine's virtually a field, apart from the gravelled area next to the house, with a little pond and pot plants.

I was only talking with my daughter about garden layouts, even so, ours still has loads to do all the time (like the house) I just got my new prescription glasses and Oh boy, load of cleaning so gardening is out for now!!!
I did have a garden that was 2 thirds of an acre, my ex still lives there and there is a sunken gaden bit that is now and always was FULL of overgrown shrubs, that area was a nightmare. THis garden is one of the easiest I have owned but still needs loads doing in it, like I said on other posts, if I did not have chickens in the top bit, it would be FULL of weeds and very hard going!!
