Post by: piggy on July 05, 2011, 03:46:54 pm
A friend of mine has a cockeral that has started to make a gurgling sound its not all the time,he is 3,he seems happy enough in himself and is eating and drinking, could it be worms if so what wormer would be best or could it be to do with his breathing.
Any advice would be great.

Thanks

Could be the or maybe the start of coccidiosis.  Flubenvet for worms - I just ordered some and had the third degree as to whether I knew how to use it, how many hens did I have,  and so on. Obviously gave the right answers as they have posted it today.

It is more likely to be a respiratory infection than worms, i suggest you take him to the vets it will need treating with antibiotics
