Title: Lions
Post by: Hatty on July 04, 2011, 02:38:23 am
It's a strange night Lions a Yorkshire Wildlife Park are very unsettled and doing lots of roaring its funny how they keep me awake but the trains and planes don't, but then again not many people can say the Lions keep them up all night lol

One of them may be ill I'd say.  Soemthing must have disturbed them.  Wish I had lions instead of coal trains ::)

Maybe a Lady Lion in season and the men are arguing and want to be pack leader, or some ones around. I ignored dogs barking in the past and found some one had been in the garden or the house durring the  night   :o :o  I saw a post in a posh mag wanting Lion poo to put around thier garden but you are not allowed to sell/buy it any more due to the health and safety law, SO, may be some ones in there with a bag!!!! (either brave or stupid)

with me its my 9yr old terrier who wakes me up at 5am every morning because she needs to be let out to pee, then insists to be let back in again 5mins later (she sleeps in the bed, bad habit i know but shes too old to change her ways now)

i dont even hear the lorrys racing past my house in the morning or the cocks crowing anymore

It's an odd thing to hear isn't it??

Our Aunt and Uncle stay near Flamingo Land and on a very clear silent night you can sometimes hear lions and other animal making noises from the park.

They are at it most nights but because I've been staying at the field most nights where it's really really quiet, it seemed worse maybe its the Tiger he is supposed to be a bit feisty but they always start about midnight and it was 3am when they shut up this morning, oh and we are about a mile and a half away

To be honest, trains etc go one of two ways on a track that is laid down securely. There is little chance of them coming off the rails so any noise becomes familiar. Personally, if I heard a lion growling, I'm sure that I'd wake up and pretty quickly too!  :D :D
