Ad in Smallhoolder mag for 2 Berkshire bulls for sale, unregistered.
Is this a mistake? I've never heard of Berkshire cattle

Pigs,rats, yes...cattle?No

There is no 'Berkshire' in the list of British Cattle Movement Service's approved breed codes.
Perhaps they look like these:

and she got confused ...;D
Or perhaps they are Bazadaize crosses and have white snouts, feet and tail tips... ;)
I think they must be boars and someone misheard/typed!

Pretty disappointing / surprising for seller and buyer ;D

That is one I have never heard of ??? Unless they are just some cattle which happen to be grazing in Berkshire ::)
All the best

typing errors do happen! we had an ad in paper once for sheep at "£1" each, no wonder we had so many phone calls!!
lol

I once sold two Tamworth gilts. The paper must have been short of advertising that week as they gave me a HUGE column length with BIG letters... under "Scrap metal."
