Arrrgghhhh !!!
My 3 pigs have escaped overnight and cannot see them anywhere.
We have reported it to the police, just in case anything is reported.
Do I need to report it to DEFRA ????
They are 22 week old, large whites. So they are a reasonable size, but not huge.
Thanks for any advice

Pigs as a general rule don't wonder too far away from home, so a little bit strange that you haven't found them.
Was right with my thoughts, that they would not be too far away.
Iam pleased you got them back. ;D

Ooops :( & Pheew ;D :pig: :pig: Change of sceen, little day out etc. Little buggers :D

glad to hear they're back!
pigs having a little holiday?!
personally, I would report to Animal Health if they were out of sight/gone a long time ... if they visited anywhere there is disease, caused damage, got pregnant etc then you have some idea of tracing this back to source

Beware because once they've been out they'll try again! ;)

My pigs went through a faise of escaping it only takes once and they will do it again and again which they have done, they have escaped through electric fencing so they don't have the privilege of the lovely grassy field at the moment until they learn some manners, they even worked out how to get into he feed shed and ate a whole weeks worth of food, it didn't take long to round them up there stomachs were so fat they couldn't run away, I still have to shake some food in a bucket to get them in the pen. CHEEKY MONKEYS!!! Glad you found them safe and sound :-\
