Title: Fully grown?
Post by: NormandyMary on June 23, 2011, 11:26:47 am
Hi everyone. Does anyone out there know at what age goats stop growing? My boys are about 5 months old now and although they have grown, Billy especially, they are still lovely and small, as pygmys should be I suppose!!!

Many thanks.

Mary.

Not sure about pygmies, but my GG's grow for most of their first year, and still fill out in their second. Boys definitely take longer.

My Old English are also not fully grown until they are a couple of years old. Rowan, last year's kid, for example, isn't as big as her mum yet. Probably as tall now but still a lanky teenager not filled out.
