Title: How is James Lindsey?
Post by: Roxy on June 22, 2011, 02:37:08 pm
I know some of you live not too far from him, or did - not sure where he is based now?

Just wondering how he is doing.  Did he keep his goats etc when he moved?

If you are in contact with him, please tell him I was asking after him.

I speak to him most days, also on Facebook - he's fine.  Goats are on an estate and he sees them regularly  Kenny is much better too.  I'll pass on your kind wishes, Roxy, thanks

Hi James, you don't know me (I was just nosey as I know another James Lindsey) - saw pic of your wee pygmy -we also have 3 pygmy females and intend breeding from the youngest next year - do you breed them - how many do you have?  (apologies, you are obviously quite well known on TAS and I'm a fairly new girl  :)) I'm from Dundee originally but live in Scottish Borders now, but you are still reasonably close.

Hi there. I have 12 goats in total, 6 of which are pygmy. 3 of them are females and the other 3 castrated males. I have never bred any of them though. Please feel free to ask anything that I can help you with.

Just how popular are you!! ;D You must post a pic of yourself never mind the pygmies!  :o
What other types of goats do you keep, it would be nice to know.  Do you think you would have any pygmies for sale next year? I see you're near Kincaple, it's nice there. Sorry - there was you just gathering dust quite nicely and everyone on TAS is pulling you out of your cosy nest and dusting you off and I'm sure I must be sounding very nosey about your goats, so apologies!

I have 2 British Toggenburg boys, aged 2 and 2 Golden Guernsey's; mother and daughter aged 4 and 2. I also have a BT cross aged 13 and a GG cross aged 15 and of course the other 6 are the Pygmy's.

Ah, we've been looking for some GG's - would you plan on selling on your girls?  A nice 5 star small scale quarry with ledges and yummy bushes awaits .... I was hoping to start breeding these - there are some very nice GG boys down the road too who would like to meet .... please let me know if you change your mind!  (We keep rare and minority breeds).
