Title: holiday house exchange - has anyone with a smallholding done this?
Post by: wolfie on February 07, 2009, 05:34:55 pm
Hello,
In these snowy times thoughts are turning to holidays but then turning back again to credit crunch etc etc so...I am sure some resourceful smallholders have already done smallholding swaps for holidays and I wondered what the experience has been like, any advice, thoughts, recommended routes to go down to organise swap etc
Thanks

We are in Moray just north of Keith and we are going away in September for a week to Italy.  My parents have said that they would house, dog, cat, chicken and vegetable garden sit, but I'm not sure if my mother really means it.
If you are free we have a 2 bedroomed farmhouse in the middle of nowhere.

You would need to arrange a transfer slot as well thought since we humans cannot yet teleport  ;)

If anyone in the Winchester/Hampshire would like a swap next year for 2 weeks, possibly September time, I would be interested, I do family history research and I want to do a bit more with my Hampshire side, but I need more than just a day visit.
