Title: JAM JARS
Post by: greenfingers on February 07, 2009, 02:47:55 pm
I suppose everyone uses their jam/pickle/marmalade jars, but if you don't I would be interested in them.  I live in Morayshire,  thats the only problem, but would pay for postage.

How about a relay system for stuff like this?  Once the weather is better of course.  If you don't need them till summer there's times to get it arranged.  I can do Central belt to Aberdeen if that's any help.  Maybe to Inverness instead - that might suit you better?

I like the idea of that, if anyone is coming this way I could meet them part way, good thinking.
My sister in law lives in Stirling, if they end up there we could pick them up.

One of my sister's live in Nottingham and is regularly up to Lanarkshire, I'd have to check with her but I'm sure she'd bring them up if you could get them to her (or near to her?) My other sister is in Kelty so could take them to her house if that helps ? (I'd maybe have to pinch a few en-route if that's okay ;))

Our smallholders' assoiation is going down to the Smallholders' Show at Builth Wells in May. We could pick them up and bring them back as far as Central Scotland.

Hi, danndans

It would be great to meet up, jam jars or no! I was tasked with making contact with the natives around Builth Wells re some sort of twinning arrangement but haven't got round to it yet.

I could do a ferry system from south wales (newport direction) to Central scotland (i go down a couple of times a year) but need to be forwarned in case i travel via plane/train etc , as limited on carry and weights. Also go to Blackpool a couple of times a year too so if any one is that direction i can alway pick up/drop off there.
