What is a 'thaive' in sheep terms please ???

A THEAVE is sheep between 1 and 2yrs old i think, it is a term used in southern england ,called a gimmer/two tooth /shearling further north

I guessed it to be a regional term here it would indeed be a gimmer :sheep:
