Anyone tried pickling radishes?

Yes - I didn't like them.

But - I used the vinegar method; they were just too strong. In Asia (and other places probably) they make a delicious pickled radish, I think using the lacto-fermentation method. Same thing used for saurkraut and so on. Here's a link (http://gnowfglins.com/2011/05/17/naturally-pickled-lacto-fermented-radishes/), I'm gonna try it sometime.

I have a glut so I am having a go at Japanese pickled radishes which I loved when I was there.  i found a recipe for radiah soup - but it was disgusting!  (And sadly, I made a LOT of it  :-[)
