Title: here we go again.......

well 
the time has come again to send the girls off to their final destination.......... :'( followed by  :yum:
we are going to the same abbotoir, (sargents in uttoxeter, as they looked after them well last time)
however this time we are having them butchered with a butcher
charging £27 for kill and cut (bagged and labelled) but not vacuum packed
sausages any flavour 2.10 a kilo
how does it sound to others

Our abattoir charge £18 to kill only - up to 100kg.

Here we charge £25 for a basic cut, bag and label.
£1.50 per kilo for plain sausages, other flavours £1.75.
Boned and rolled joints extra.

So the £27 for kill AND cut that you have been quoted sounds a bargain.

Will be interested to hear what others pay.

£45 for despatch, cut and plain sausages.

PS: Forgot to say, not vacuum packed.

Sounds like a bargain.  I pay £70 for kill, butcher, bag, label, some bacon and some sausages.
