We've just had Philip Fisher (Singing Shearer) shear our sheep.
Firstly, what nice people :) But much more importantly, he did a wonderful job with our sheep. Not a nick on them, very tidy and so calm and good with the sheep. I don't think we've ever had a less stressful shearing ;D Can't recommend him highly enough :sheep:

Philip has just sheared my angora goat and he's done a brilliant job. It was the most stress free shearing we've ever had and considering William the goat isn't always pleasant at shearing, with Phil he was putty in his hands.
Lovely people and wonderful with the animals. Thank you very much Philip.

Reading your posts I'm having visions of topiary sheep .... now there's a business opportunity :farmer:

:D no topiary - that's when we shear them :D
Neat, unstressed sheep - a brill job!

Thank you both very much, it was nice meeting you both and although the weather didn't quite hold out all day everything seemed to work out.
Jaykay,
It was so nice to shear some real sheep for once, hope you get on with the fleece.
Lilly54,
It was a pleasure to meet William, hope he isn't too cold tonight.
Thanks,
Philip :sheep: :goat:

I need to get some rest - I read that as "Philip has just sheared my angora coat......"

Comments in the pub last night, 'who sheared your sheep', so we told them and the general consensus from the farmers was that they'd not seen such well-sheared sheep in a long tme.
We are passing your number around Philip :)

Thanks Jay,
It's very kind of you to pass my number on. I'm glad the local farmers like the way the sheep look although a lot of it was down to the sheep being good in the first place.
Thanks,
Philip :sheep:
