triple press might break it up.

Are you wanting to turn it into grazing, or do you want to grow a crop? If so, what are you intending to grow? Do you have a photo of the ground?

Never mind tractor implements, get yourself a couple of weaners!! ;D ;D :pig: :pig:

Pigs sound like your best bet! Get them to really blacken the land buy putting them on a small area at a time with electric fencing. Don't try to tractor rotovate land thats not been ploughed, I've seen people strip the gears on the rotovator that way. If you mean a hand rotovator you'll just need very strong arms!

the field is about 2.5 acres had 4 sows up in field electric fenced into a strip, it was the worst pig performance i have ever seen, they just lay sleeping all day, were not bothered about rooting and digging, its big solid lumps and tufts of wild grass very bitter id say.we don't have a water supply in the field so its hard to keep livestock in it for any lenght of time, we have loads of bad land closer to us that the pigs are working now and doing a far better job with mains water. so its tractor and implements.
