Title: Norfolk Grey and Scots Grey Birds, Chicks and Eggs
Post by: moorlander on May 25, 2011, 03:37:27 pm
I have some lovely birds growing at present.
I have sold my Scots Grey breeding flock to concentrate on Norfolks but have some Scots Grey at 6 weeks old.
I have sixteen Norfolks at 3 weeks and 4 at six weeks.
I also have 5 newly hatched Norfolks still under their broody co-mothers.
I will be setting some more eggs if these birds are sold.

I will be selling the birds in trios and above up to 1cock/7 hens ('Rabbie' seemed to cope with six hens well within his 'stride'.)
I will not sell less than three birds at a time. (Unless you've got other birds they will eventually mix with)
Hatching eggs can be collected or posted in polystyrene boxes.
Birds must be collected. Birds needing heat will not be sold without assurance that a heated brooder is in place.
Hatching eggs - £6 per 1/2 dozen, + P&P at fair cost.
Day-olds at £1.50 each
6 weeks at £5 each - in between, by fair adjustment.
Thereafter birds will cost an additiional £1each per week of growing - up to 20 weeks.

Norfolks are a very rare breed - a lovely bird that deserves a lot of support. Check them out on teh net.

Day-olds and older must be collected. Staffordshire Mooorlands

All buirds are growing well.
I've even got a couple of Norfolks who have hatched five chicks between them and are proving to be good 'joint-mothers' as they teach and protect their chicks.
Get it touch is you are looking for Norfolk Greys.
