I always remember my mum saying that when you drop an egg into the pan to fry ... if it doesn't spread, you know it's a fresh one!
Well, a couple of our hens seem to be laying much larger eggs than the rest and the white in them are quite watery ... is this normal or are they lacking in something?

Can't help with ideas but we had that problem at the end of last year. Since they've gone through their moult and started laying again I don't seem to have that problem. Although, since then we have had a couple of chickens die so maybe it was them. Sorry not any help but wanted you to feel you were not alone. :)
