Title: Bedwell bedding
Post by: Cinderhills on May 16, 2011, 07:21:58 am
Yesterday we cleaned out the deep litter bedding in the goat house.  We used Bedwell bedding to cover the concrete floor, then straw on top of that, then of course all the hay that gets wasted.  It was very deep by the end.  Using Bedwell horse bedding at the bottom was SOOO much easier to clean out.  There were no clumps of any thing on the concrete floor to try and scrape up.  It's fantastic stuff.  :)

Looks like good stuff for the horse but finding a supplier in the south west could be an issue. We have a local supplier of michanthus bedding which is pretty good but I am always open to ideas.
