Just thought I'd let you see a picture of the now considerably older pups with Max our blind collie.
-
Now seeing that you would not think butter would melt in their mouths, think again. If there is mischief to be had they will find it.
Had a poor blackbird fly into the window last week and what happens they retrieve it for me.
I'll be glad when they calm down a bit, but they are so lovable. :)

This is Skye now awake, with Amber elsewhere.
-
they are beautiful :)

So beautiful, :) :) I always think GOlden Retrievers are bigger in general than Labradors, I love Retrievers but no more dogs just yet!!! I wonder if there are chocolate or brown Retrievers????
-
What a gorgeous photo of them all. :)
-
I hate to disillusion you about the calming down - it happens around 15 years old :D
And they are retrievers cos it's us that retrieve. With mine, socks, undies and balls of wool from the garden ::)

Ummm, think about it - G O L D E N ??????????? Retrievers? ;D ;D ;D ;D
Labradors should be 21.5 to 22.5 inches, Retrievers should be 20 to 24 inches - only dogs are bigger, bitches can be smaller than labs.

You can get Flat-Coated Retrievers, also beautiful and friendly, in black and I think chocolate :) But that might not be helping with your 'no more dogs' resolution Sandy ;)

Jay kay, that is what I meant, for example we have a Yellow Lab AND a Black Lab AND a Chocolate lab, so did wonder if Retrievers come in different colours, someone I know has a Flat coated one and of course the cruffts winner, I would love to see a chocolate one but I bet it's not called chocolate maybe "Brown" like Labs are not Golden but Yellow!! Glad some one understands me , anyway....I would love one! ;)
"Liver"

Talking of liver, in the toy shops there is a Sylvanian Family of 'chocolate dalmatians'. Now everyone should know the brown and white ones are LIVER!!...
-
I bet its a marketing ploy as parents know thier kids don't like liver but love chocolate!!!! ;) Anyway, I did not know you could get Liver Dalmations either!!!!!!
