Title: The effect of fungicides on pigs
Post by: Bioman on April 26, 2011, 09:29:03 pm
Hi,

i have two Berkshire weaners about 13 weeks old, they have had several problems in the short time I've had them due to too early weaning and some poor genetics, resulting in some out of hours vet fees :-\. However they looked like, finally after having them 5 weeks, it looked like they had turned the corner.

Yesterday the farmer next door sprayed his oil seed rape with a fungicide and has left the pigs with a high temperature, lack of appetite and being lethargic.

Is there any link or is this just a coincidence?

Any similar incidences I would be interested in hearing,

Thanks
