Title: Twins

One of my soays has just had twins yippee,the other 5 have all had singles but i have been luckly 4 ewes,1 tup and the twins are both ewes,3 more to go.
1 of the ewes is Black,will she stay this colour or go Brown.
They are about an hour old in pics.

To tell if a black lamb will go brown, look around the eyes - if there is a paler ring, it will turn brown or moorit, if not it should stay black.  The tips of the black wool will be sun-bleached in the summer and look brown, but the wool closer to the body will stay black, or a very dark chocolate brown, which is still considered to be black.  Lovely twins  :) :wave:  We still have one Soay left to lamb, and 3 Hebs
