Title: what to do with multiplier onions
Post by: northfifeduckling on April 25, 2011, 12:09:02 pm
I have separated and replanted them a few weeks ago - now they are showing definite signs of upcoming flowers - what do I do? Prick the flowers out or leave them? Last year I just let them get on with it and didn't eat any as it wasn't that much to harvest yet. :&>

Let them go  to seed and collect the seed and plant the seed next  year.

Let half of them go to seed and eat  the other half.... they make heaps of seed and grow well the following of year.
