Hello there,
I am greenTmom. I learned about your site through CarolinaJim who also posts on our Green Earth Friend Forum. Very interesting site, BTW. I am originally from Ireland and my husband is from Scotland, but we now live in Florida! We would eventually like to have a smallholding, so we enjoy reading about yours and it brings back fond, but cold, memories of growing up in Scotland for my husband. We also are very eco-friendly and green people and share this with others on our website http://www.greenearthfriend.com (http://www.greenearthfriend.com) and our green forum http://www.greenearthfriend.com/forum (http://www.greenearthfriend.com/forum). I am looking forward to reading more about your smallholding!

Welcome from freezing cold, muddy Brittany. Really loved the variety of wildlife over there. Do you get those little wart hog pigs in your garden?

Hi Hilarysmum,
Unfortunately we do not get those cute little wart hog pigs, but we do get raccoons, sandhill cranes, squirrels, possums, moles and snakes! As well as a variety of other little critters. We have ducks and 2 small gators in our pond. We have to have the gators removed when they get a certain size because they can be dangerous to small animals or children! :&> :bee: :bfly: :)

Well you can tell the true Floridians because their skin is so pale...we learn to stay out of the hot sun. I live just next to Orlando Florida. Near the home of Mickey Mouse! Yes, Clearwater is lovely. :) Why did you move?
My relatives from Ireland were just visiting and talking about how bitter cold and rainy it is over there this time of year. What is the weather like today for you?
