When are you coming down to devon?  I have a flock of 12 Ryelands that will need shearing.  Do you also do show trimming?  I have 3 Ryelands that'll need that in the next month or so.

Dear Worzel

yes i agree it is early to be shearing and there is no need to panic yet like some people are.

I am only shearing sheep that have no lambs therefore are in good condition and will cope with the odd cold night.

Meant to say ours lambed 2/3 weeks ago, so not sure when shearing should/could be done.

I have five Shetlands and three Ouessants but no electricity on my land, though I do have a generator (don't know whether it's up to the job though) I am at Bickington if you could fit me in :)

Hi WG we are getting ours done end of May. We are in a microclimate on the South West coast in Somerset. The reason is it seems about right and past experience of others in the area.

Adam

Thanks for coming and shearing my Jacobs and Grey Faces!  Brilliant job.

If anyone is looking for a shearer, Adam is your man (and no, he hasn't paid me to say this).

See you in August to do the little'uns.
