Can anyone tell me if Norfolk Greys have a fair reputation for staying faithful to the nest when they go broody?
I've got a hen who gave me what for when I tried to ease her off the eggs she was covering. Not like my Norfies which are normally very timid. This one certainly was not- set up a cry that got the whole flock going and showed me her beak.
Good sign so far as motherhood is concerned but I wonder if she will stay the course.
Any experienced advice would be appreciated.
Cheers
Paul
