Well, as I finally joined/advertised my house on here yesterday, I feel it is only right and proper that I say a formal hello.
Hello!
Herself and I stay on Skye, the southern-ish part near to Broadford,.
I have been loitering around TAS for many a year now. Hard to recall how many, 3, 4, 5?
We are selling up at the moment as we want to move to a smaller house with a wee bit more land. Still loking to stay in the same area of Skye as we are now.
When this is completed I will give up my overseas/business traveller type life and be home on Skye (annoying the wife) full time.
So buy my house....help me stay home ;).
I will pop into TAS now and then and, if ever possible, try to be a useful contributer.
So, that's all I can think of for now.
Until soon
best wishes and thank you TAS for being here!

Right back at you all. Thank you for the greetings.
Hopefully I can dive-in to TAS this weekend with Greenhouse and polytunnel searches.....especially those that relate to "blustery" areas as I need to do some research about those. We do get a wee dram o weather over here now and again!
I have seen a few members from Sutherland and Northern Isles and I imagine they will have some good advice?
best wishes

I used Northern Polytunnels. I also live in the Northwes Highlands so had to cater for the winds and the snow. I got the strengthing bars and also the solar sheeting.

Not had a problem with it at all however I would not recommend putting the chickens in during the winter as something i.e Mr Fox has made quiet a few air holes for me without me asking!
