Evening all (no im not a copper) i have been reading the many interesting posts on this forum for a while now and thought, yes this seems a friendly helpfull forum why not become a member.Well, i live in Burton on Trent work for myself in the pest control game,at present i keep 2 saddleback gilts that i hope are in pig,and would like to get a few hebridean sheep sooner rather than later.I also have 2 dogs (both bonkers) ruby is the eldest and a lurcher, havoc is a german wire hair pointer x gsp and looks like a pedigree gwp,i also keep 3 ferrets.I used to keep livestock some years ago but due to a relationship breakdown i had to sell my stock and ended up living in a caravan and working on construction sites around the country, well i met my new partner almost 11 years ago and we both moved into a house together and things have been realy good.Sorry if i have bored anyone with my intro.Paul

Hi Paul, glad to have you aboard (and I'm not a sailor! lol) You can't bore us on here - we're nosey to the Nth degree and love hearing everyone's different stories. So glad you established a new life, just heard of a break up a few minutes ago, but I myself was lucky - two great husbands, they just happened to get taken too young in accidents. I'm a fake smallholder - just an acre of garden, 10 hens, 4 ducks and a drake, 5 dogs (including a pedigree german wirehaired plonker ;)) and a mouser/ratter/magpie-er
